This is where we will showcase our Before and After shots. Check back regularly to see what we have been up to!
The Deckers felt like their space was too small. I felt like it just needed to be organized with some things paired down. I worked with the Mrs. (and our small person assistant) for an afternoon and we spent ZERO dollars. The family had a nice pile of donations (tax deduction), things to sell locally (earned $$) and things that could be thrown away (decreasing the negative). All in all, I was super pleased with our efforts and the family was super pleased with their space.
Before Dining Room. Plus little one’s favorite – books!
Before Dining Room
After – Makeshift desk and organized files and supplies. Recommended purchasing a desk – but this works too!
After – Clear dining table to dine 🙂
Before living room
Before living room – Lots of toys but they did not have a home.
After – living room. Space for the small person to play!
Before – living room
Before living room. Lots of big furniture made the space feel smaller than it is.
Before – drop zone.
After living room – we moved toys to a corner and paired down. Sending many to small person’s room. I did recommend removing one of the large couches. Which we tested out by moving it into another area.
After – play zone.
After – living room drop zone.
Inside Out Body Therapies
IOBT wanted to freshen up their front room and add a bit of retail space for essential oils and natural skin care products. See the after here!
This space was a great dining area that the family never used and did not reflect their fun and active lifestyle. Now the family of 3 can all do yoga together! Plenty of useable space. Dining table moved to kitchen and family actually uses it now! Hutch repurposed in living room.
The family cleared the room before I arrived – saving time and money!
Display wall of the family snowboards. Snowboard hanger was built by Dad (and he helped me hang it). Baskets full of the family’s medals and awards. Talented, fun family!
I hung shears over the windows to soften the space. The only thing purchased for this space (plus 3 baskets).
This corner screamed for a cozy nook. Rocking chair from living room. Found beautiful handmade pieces hidden away. This is my favorite.
I chalkboard painted a passed down floral family lamp – this turned out great!
